NYFW

Hello my Beauties!

I got the pleasure of attending NYFW back in February. Have you been? Do you want to go? It’s not just for celebs who get personal invites from their favorite designers. There are tickets available to so many different kinds of shows and levels of designers. I will share what I saw, wore and of course what I ate…Probably the best piece of gluten free pizza I have ever tasted.

I got to see two shows. Our first night we saw Society Fashion Week. The venue was warehouse vibes with live music and cocktails. We saw several new designers from all over the country showcasing their collections. The collections ranged from gowns to lingerie. Above, Diana from AFYX Dress and I had a blast posing on the step and repeat.

You will recognize my pink platforms from Miami. Had to roll them into my NYFW street style. When picking what to wear, I shopped my closet and put together outfits that are trending this spring. I was so excited to finally wear this Natori dress. I layered with a black corset, my little hot pink Jeffree Star Bag and red puff earrings.

My spray tan from The Bonze Method completed the look. I felt it was only necessary that I got the celebrity method for the weekend.

The following day we had some time to shop before our next show. Above is a video of some of my finds. I love to bargain shop!

Our next show was Runway 7 Fashion at Sony Hall. This was an amazing venue! The designers we saw were also up and coming. The media at this show was intense. There was a whole section dedicated to photographers catching the potential next big designer in the industry. The stage and runway were stunning. New Goal: I must get on that runway! (manifesting)

My favorite part of NYFW was the street style. I loved seeing what everyone was wearing to the shows and around the city.

I wanted to dress sporty chic since we would be going to a show during the day. Green is very in this season so I packed my green GapFit pants from Gap that I got for $11. Love that for me! I paired them with a coral crop top I got in San Diego. It was a little chilly so my cozy bomber jacket completed my look.

Below are the yummy bites we had over the weekend. If you are staying in the Garment District, these restaurants are all in the neighborhood. Be sure to stop in.

Vito’s Slices and Ices THE BEST GF PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD

Zoob Zib Thai Noodle Bar.

Koi Restaurant

Etcetera Etcetera

I normally don’t drink coffee but I did try Gregorys Coffee. Not bad.

I can’t wait to go to NYFW in the fall. Again, I was so inspired by not only the designers and models on stage but the people attending. NYC has always been a place where my heart and soul thrives.

Thinking about going? What did you think of my outfits? Let me know in the comments below.

Love and Light!
